HealthChat with Nikita Kanani

Kings Fund, 11-13 Cavendish Square, London

Description

Tickets are available HERE.

Nikita Kanani MBE is acting Director of Primary Care for NHS England As well as being a practicing GP in South East London. Hers is an interesting career having previously been CCO for Bexley CCG, being a member of the Kings Fund general advisory council and co-founding STEMM sisters as a social enterprise to support young people studying science and medicine.

In this rapidly changing health world, what future does the current primary care structure in the NHS truly have? Is it’s time up? How can it be realistically and successfully integrated to provide the kind of service suitable for our current and future population needs? How can she bring the profession and its pressure groups along with her to achieve sustainable change? Is even referring to ’primary care’ an acknowledgement that we don’t grasp integrated care?

This will be a block buster evening and you are urged to book immediately to avoid disappointment.
